The Primare SPA25 powers my Magnepan Surround System with ease. Easy to use and setup, not to mention dealer support and knowledge that is top notch. The only way I would move on from this gear would be a future upgrade in the Primare family of products.
I bought this Center from Mike a year ago after hearing his Magnepan Surround system at Capital Audiofest. I often swap speakers in and out of my system with regularity, however this speaker will never leave unless I buy a newer version in the future. This is the best Center channel I have ever heard in my system. If you considering this speaker, realize this is likely the last Center channel you will ever want or need. Amazing build quality and dealer support not to mention the best sound achievable.
I visited Mike in Chestertown to demo an FLS1 Preamp but left with that and a pair of the FLS8s. Mike does a great job, but these amps sold themselves. He kindly played a few tracks I requested through Perlisten Speakers and I was just blown away. Listened to this system for the entire day and couldn't go home empty handed. Thanks Mike!
