Opera is a very underrated manufacture. Sleeper and a great compliment when a change is desired from my Maggie 3.7x's. I have owned this speaker for couple years. Elegant looks, heavy, extreme overbuild quality. The finish is like fine art and has a good wife factor. How do they sound? Airy, light, delicate, mids tight tight thru bass. Sound like nothing else I've heard or owned and I've owned some speakers thru my years. The Grand Callas have a unique design in that they have 2 rear firing tweeters. What does this do? Dimension, depth. Well done Italian beauty. You need to audition. They do acoustic and trio's Perfecto Mundo.

I have owned a few dac's with AES connectivity, I never owned an AES cable and prefer COAX over USB, Toslink. Did not actually know anything about AES coax. Mike educated me, "What? you never tried AES.". Home this cable went and is now my reference connectivity from streamer to dac. ViaBlue, quality. I'm a big fan and have almost converted over to all ViaBlue. Recommended, you bet.

The minute I heard the new LS2 2025 in my system, I knew I had to find a way to keep in permanently in my stable. I have been an ARC fan for many years, owned several. Careful when Mike says, "take it home, let me know what you think?". Hate when Mike makes an offer you cannot refuse. Home it went, and into my kit. Lite up my Maggies, instantly began to figure out what to let go before my wife says, you out of hear! Moving up into ARC line I'm sure is nice, but this LS2 is pure ARC. Airy, tight mids, Instrument separation, layering, depth micro details floating in space, and a delicate decay into BLACKNESS. The LS2 is the orange twist with a light squeeze over a fine bourbon Manhattan; citrus zing. The AKM dac card is not an after thought. I own the Rose RD160, has the same dac as ARC. No difference between the dac's. Refined. I bought IT.

My history with Magnepan, .7, 1.7i, 3.7i. The 3.7i's were a match made in heaven with my system and I have never thought about nor saw a need to move on from my i's. When X's came out I was curious but pessimistic. There is no way it's gets any better than my i's. Absolutely no way they better. Mike, as usual, sprinkled his magic fairy dust on me and I ordered said, Gitty Up, the X's. X's arrived, I's departed and break in began. Break in they must do. Fresh out of the box, the X's were forward, in your face, limited depth. Missing my I's I was. 200 hours in things firmed up, center fill, soundstage opened up. Essentially, the X's came to life. The qualities I love about Magnepan and my I's shined thru. What is different in the highs, airy, precise. I'm set and feel no reason to move up, thank goodness. Me a happy camper. Highly recommended.

Mike is a total class act. He gave me a great deal on my Maggie’s, drove all the way to Maine to set them up, and has been very swift replying to any questions I’ve had. This level of service and care is a rare thing today and I appreciate it!

Fantastic piece of gear. Sound, features, and user interface all excellent. And experience with Mike and The Listening Room are always really just pleasant from start to finish.

During my search for the next level up from the Eversolo DMP-A6, I had the opportunity to audition several streamers, couple from Mike and a couple from friends. Only reason I gave 4 star is the N20 was the clear winner. Had to work that one. This is a very nice intro up from Eversolo.

Excellentie center channel. For many years I was addicted to Aerial center channels, until Perlisten came along. Sweet spot for a center at this price point. Up the food chain is better, but when your immersed into a an epic movie, they are plenty nice. Aerial is retired.

Stepping back from my big rig and into office mode, I was looking at all kinds of options. Mike knows me, this was his recommendation. Never looked back, very nice entertaining speaker.

Where to begin on this subwoofer. So many things right, actually, all things are right. I was a very early customer and purchased 2 of the 1st white's. The phone app at 1st had issues within my room. Had to get close for them to connect. Subsequent app releases fixed this and got better. App control is robust with features and settings. So, how do they sound? One word, "Musical". Tight, defined, and delineated bass. Deep bass. They were entry level Perlisten subs when I purchased, I have never wish for any more. Have them dialed into my Magnepan 3.7x's just to give them the cherry on top of a lushiest banana split. Just a touch of this sub bumps up a notch on body, texture, bottom. Not boom ah de boom body, Tight see / feel bass strings as they be plucked. Maggies are fantastic already, the 2 D12s's I have put them over the top. Big fan, and also of Mike Hoatson.

I have had a great experience with these cables so far and expect they will be a part of my system for a long time.

Been watching the S7t's since they first came out. Initial impression was nice, but I am a Magnepan fan. Fast forward, after auditioning for a few years they have totally won me over. Electronica, rock, amazing. Combined with the 2 D12s subs I already own, the S7t's playing HT 2.2 configuration grabs you the entire movie. No need for a center channel, well, only if you don't have the space. But, in 2.2 the center fill is spot on, hard to tell that no center is present. Fit and finish is over the top.

Excellentie speaker kit for computer usage. Gaming is engaging with them. Fit and finish top notch. Great to see Mike carrying Cambridge Audio.

This is an amazing sounding speaker! Bass, midrange and highs are clean and crisp. The speaker doesn’t sound labored at high volume levels. Handles the music with ease and you couldn’t ask for better imaging. I’m moving my equipment around and using different cables and each time the reproductiong gets better. Love them, glad I was able to buy them!

The SS-1 switch added a smoothness and refinement to my system!
